Caught On Camera!

In 'The Prisoner' No.6 has this somewhat curious habit of looking through undergrowth. He does it several times throughout the series, as he does below while following the doctor-No.14 through the woods in 'A B and C.'
This is a trick which has not gone un-noticed, and used in THEPRIS6NER-09, as Six watches the doctor-313 leave her house in the episdoe of 'Anvil.'
I have never been sure if peeping through undergrowth was a strange quirk of Pat McGoohan's, or that of the character of the Prisoner-No.6. Mind you McGoohan does the same thing in several episodes of 'Danger Man.' So it's probably six of one and half a dozen of the other!

Be seeing you

  1. Film or TV scenes with shots like this one alway made me shake my head. Because they'd usually less hide the character as they'd reveal, and teach, more about the production, the combination of a preceding outdoor scene with often enough poor inddor sets, the lighting harsh and visible, reflected on any surfaces. However, this isn't about condemning this kind of film making. Those were the days. - BCNU!

  2. Hello Arno,
Yes, that's true enough, and well put.

    Very kind regards
