A Question Of Interpretation

At Madam Professor's art seminar, she describes a man sat tearing up a book as "Creating a fresh concept. Construction comes out of the ashes of destruction." And over there, there is a woman standing on her head "She's developing a new perspective." And the man sat in a chair with his eyes closed? “He’s asleep. The mind learns only when it wants to." Well to me the man's simply tearing up a book, the woman's standing on her head, and the man's asleep in the chair simply because he's tired! But it’s a question of perspective and interpretation isn’t it. In the way two or three people can look at a situation in ‘the Prisoner’ who perhaps have a different perspective, and therefore you could get three different interpretations. For example, it is interpreted that No.6 and No.1 are one and the same person. But what if they are not. What if for example No.1 is another doppelganger, like Curtis, that he might have been Curtis, who had been resuscitated like No.2 in 'Fall Out.' If that had been the case, it means we didn't find out who No.1 is! Another perspective might be that No.2 in 'Hammer Into Anvil' had it right, that No.6 was a plant sent there by their masters to spy on them, to check on security, and put No.2 to the test! It might not be right, and yet it's a different perspective, and one that I held dear when I first saw 'Hammer Into Anvil' when I was 12 years of age. But then I also thought No.6 had managed to escape the Village during the Chimes of Big Ben,' so what do I know?!

Be seeing you
